Albany Hilton Garden Inn

Hodge Collard Preston Architects was engaged to provide design, documentation and construction stage services for the new Albany Hilton Garden Inn Hotel.
The hotel was designed to provide an efficient, innovative and cost-effective design; including social and function spaces with 108 rooms, including king rooms, accessible rooms and superior rooms which all have spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding context.
The internal planning evolves from the Hilton Hotel experience for guests, moving from a definable entry point through the Lobby and Public areas to the private guest suites, whilst engaging the public interface. The Harbour Promenade features a more modern design with lighter/translucent materials, establishing visual links to the adjacent Entertainment Centre, water and marina. To connect the two elements together a curved corner feature is placed at the intersection of Toll Place and the Promenade.
