The development covers two sites which stretch approximately 1km across the Kelmscott railway line and is located in the City of Armadale approximately 23 kilometres South East of the Perth CBD.
The development incorporates 167 single and double bedroom apartments in numerous two storey buildings carefully arranged on the linear site in Camillo. The apartment layouts are efficiently planned ensuring natural light, visual privacy and external outlooks are incorporated within the designs.
The design addresses the street by activating the streetscape with high quality design outcomes which also provides passive street surveillance.
The development has maximised the yield of the site whilst not compromising the site amenities for the end users, the integration of common landscaped areas and communal swimming pool and facilities are key features of the site planning.
The contemporary multi-residential aesthetics will present a new level of architectural expression to the highly visible streetscape. The bold but simple design provides a common aesthetic for the kilometre long elevation, but is broken up with feature elements and architectural forms to create interest and differentiation.
